Firstly
my many thanks to those that presented and were present at the various seminars
and workshop. Even though the numbers were not what we have come to expect or
had hoped for, we are all aware of the current economic.This really means that,
it’s a BIG THANK YOU to all those that paid money to attend, both sponsors and
delegates.
It
was great to see Bob again in South Africa, and we look forward to his next
visit here, as his wealth of knowledge is bottomless. Well done to Keith, Rian
and Igmar for the continued high standard and contribution. As many of you know
I was not in the best of health last week, having just returned from Europe with
a bad case of fl u (fortunately not Swine). Again, thank you to all those that
filled the gap, particularly my team Sylvea & Grant.
The
coverage in Dataweek was again brilliant and it’s a real pleasure to work with
Malckey and for her and Dataweek to share the vision we have for the South
African Electronics Industry. It is always our aim to improve, so if anyone has
any comments or suggestions, please feel free to send to me. Again, thanks to
all those that supported, participated, encouraged, attended, contributed, or
played any kind of a part in this tour.
